The Navtive felt that they needed to adapt ot he white culture becuase they wanted to keep their land and they wanted to join the winning team and also keep ther treaty land. Mountain Men!There are many types of Mountain Men, they have to be strong, tough, and strong willed. The geography was very hard and little people could handle the cold and hard. there was also a very big thing in the mountains called the fur trade, the fur that the men would trade is mostly beaver skin. Some reasons that fur was so big back then was that it keeps the men/woman from frezzing and it cost to much money to stay warm with anything else. Many mountain men at a place called a rendezvous, a rendezvous is a okace to mean and trade and sell their own products to make money. Somthing at a rendezvous are very high price becuase the supply was limted and cost so much for everything.
